Bot protection for campaigns, overview
Digioh's Bot Protection uses Cloudflare Turnstile to block automated bot submissions from your campaigns. It runs quietly in the background, so real visitors rarely notice it, while spam and fake entries get filtered out before they reach your data. It is not enabled by default so if you are experiencing issues or concerns related to bot traffic on your Digioh forms, please reach out to support@digioh.com
How it works
When Bot Protection is on for a campaign, Digioh checks each visitor before their submission goes through. Most people pass automatically and never see anything. Occasionally, a visitor may be asked to complete a quick, one-click check to confirm they're human.
- Works with every campaign type, including lightboxes, quizzes, inline forms, and banners.
- Runs asynchronously, so it has no impact on page load speed.
- Keeps spam and bot submissions out of your CRM or email platform.
Why use it
Bot Protection is worth turning on any time a campaign collects submissions. It's especially useful when:
- You're seeing high bot traffic or spam submissions on a campaign.
- Your email platform (like Klaviyo, Braze, or Iterable) has flagged high bounce rates from bot signups.
Turning it on
Bot Protection is enabled account by account. Reach out to your Digioh Customer Success Manager or support@digioh.com to turn it on for your account.
Once your account is set up, Bot Protection still needs to be switched on for each campaign individually. This gives you control over which campaigns are protected, so you can turn it on for the campaigns that collect data, like lead forms and quizzes, and leave purely informational campaigns untouched.
Note: New campaigns don't have Bot Protection on by default. If a campaign collects submissions, make sure it's switched on.
Once enabled, you can turn Bot Protection on for a campaign with the following steps:
- Login to Digioh https://account.digioh.com/
- From the Campaign Overview, click the “…” menu next to the Campaign you want to update
- You will see the Bot Protection Toggle. It reads “Enable Bot Protection” when the campaign is off, and “Disable Bot Protection” when it is on.
- Click “Enable Bot Protection” to turn on Bot Protection

What visitors see
Most visitors won't notice anything at all. On the rare occasion Cloudflare needs more confidence, a brief, simple checkbox appears, and the submission continues automatically once it's completed. Either way, there is no meaningful delay and no impact on the visitor's experience.
