The Prevent Common Email Typos extension detects and corrects common email domain mistakes, like gmial.com or yaho.com, before a campaign submission goes through. This reduces bounce rates caused by typos in submitted email addresses.
Step 1: Install the extension
Install the extension once from your Digioh account.
- Click your account dropdown (top right) and select Extensions.
- Find the Prevent Common Email Typos extension and install it.
Once installed, you can use this extension across all your campaigns.
Step 2: Activate typo detection on a field
You enable typo detection at the field level by adding a metadata key to a custom field in your campaign.
- Open your campaign in the Design Editor.
- Select the field you’re using to collect the user’s email (either the default email field or a custom field)
- Add the following metadata to the field: Email typo_detect : true

- Save and publish your changes.
Digioh will now detect and prevent submissions containing common email typos.
