Digioh MCP (Model Context Protocol) connects supported AI assistants, such as Claude Code, to your Digioh account. Once connected, your assistant can review your setup, explain your campaigns and targeting, troubleshoot issues, and work with your Digioh data.
This guide covers what Digioh MCP can do and how a developer connects it. The Connect Claude Code section requires working in a terminal.
Important: Digioh MCP is in beta. You may run into occasional unexpected behavior. Report any issues to support@digioh.com, your feedback shapes the full release.
Please note you will need to reach out to our Support Team as part of this process to retrieve the API Key.
What you can do with Digioh MCP
Digioh MCP is currently read-only by default, but you can enable read and write mode by reaching out to our Support Team.
Use your AI assistant to:
- Review your campaigns, Display Rules, quizzes, and integrations
- Find out why a campaign isn't displaying as expected
- Pull analytics and reporting
- Troubleshoot quizzes, A/B tests, and integrations
For the full list of capabilities, ask your assistant directly: "What can you do in Digioh?" Every tool describes itself, so your assistant walks you through what it can do today.
Example: Try prompts like these:
- "Why isn't this campaign displaying on my product pages?"
- "Show me analytics for my top-performing campaign this month."
Build campaigns using data from your other tools
One of the biggest benefits of MCP is that Digioh doesn't have to be the only system connected to your AI assistant. Digioh doesn't have to be the only system connected to your AI assistant. If your assistant connects to other tools through MCP, it uses that context alongside your Digioh data.
For example, your assistant can use analytics, ecommerce, CRM, advertising, or marketing data to spot an opportunity, then show you how your existing Digioh campaigns are set up around it.
Example: Try prompts like these:
- "Look at our analytics and find the product pages with high traffic but poor conversion. Show me which Digioh campaigns are targeting them."
- "Find our highest-performing paid traffic segments and show me which Digioh campaigns already target them."
Note: The data available depends on which tools you've connected to your AI assistant.
Connect Claude Code
These steps require installing software and running commands in a terminal. If that's not you, share this section with whoever manages your AI assistant. Please note you will need to reach out to our Support Team as part of this process to retrieve the API Key.
- Install Claude Code. On Mac, open Terminal and run:
curl -fsSL https://claude.ai/install.sh | bashOn Windows, open PowerShell and run:
irm https://claude.ai/install.ps1 | iex- Get your API key. Once MCP access is enabled for your account, our team generates an API key and shares it with you securely.
- Connect to Digioh. Run the command below, replacing
YOUR_API_KEYwith the API key our team provided:
claude mcp add digioh --scope user \
--transport http \
https://mcp.digioh.com/mcp \
-H "Authorization: Bearer YOUR_API_KEY"- Start Claude Code:
claudeImportant: Treat your MCP API key like a password. Never publish it, commit it to source control, or share it with anyone who shouldn't have access to your Digioh account.
That's it, you can now work with Digioh directly from Claude Code.
What Digioh data your assistant can use
Digioh MCP gives your AI assistant structured access to the information it needs to understand and work with your campaigns. Depending on the task, this includes:
- Campaign configuration
- Display Rules
- Website and session behavior
- Page and referral information
- Device and browser information
- Campaign and UTM parameters
- Pipeline inputs and outputs
- Analytics data
Personally identifiable information (PII) is never exposed through Digioh MCP, and Digioh does not use your account data to train AI models. Your assistant gets the context it needs to analyze and troubleshoot campaigns without receiving customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other PII.
Security
Your MCP API key controls what your AI assistant can access in your Digioh account. We recommend:
- Protect your API key. Treat it like a password. Never share it by email, in a support ticket, or anywhere it could be exposed.
- Replace a compromised key. If you think your key has been compromised, contact support@digioh.com and we'll issue a new one.
PII is not exposed through Digioh MCP, and Digioh does not train AI models on your account data.
Digioh's platform security program is independently evaluated under SOC 2 Type II. Digioh's 2025 SOC 2 Type II report covers the Digioh platform and the Trust Services Criteria for Security from January 1 through December 31, 2025.
Frequently asked questions
What is MCP?
MCP stands for Model Context Protocol. It's a standard that lets compatible AI assistants connect to tools such as Digioh.
What can my AI assistant do in Digioh?
It reviews your campaigns, Display Rules, quizzes, integrations, and analytics, and helps you troubleshoot them. Ask it "What can you do in Digioh?" and it walks you through its current capabilities.
Can it use information from my other tools?
Yes. If your AI assistant is connected to other tools, it uses information from those tools to inform what it finds and explains in Digioh. For example, it can analyze data from an analytics platform, identify an underperforming audience or page, then check whether a Digioh campaign already targets it.
Does Digioh MCP expose customer PII or train on my data?
No. PII is never exposed through Digioh MCP, and Digioh does not use your account data to train AI models.
Can I revoke access?
Yes. Contact support@digioh.com and we'll revoke it for you.
Which AI assistants can I use?
Claude Code is currently the only AI assistant we've tested and support for Digioh MCP.
Need help?
