If you have box text that is rendered with Custom JavaScript, Dynamic Items, or other apps, and you want to limit the length of that text to prevent layout overflow, there’s an app for that. From profile menu top right, select Custom JS (Apps), then find and install “Limit Text Length”.
With this app, you can configure text element-level metadata to truncate text to a specific number of characters:
Note that the app will break at the end of the word that hits the text limit.
