Digioh Custom Domains – Prevent your popups from being blocked

With the release of iOS26 and macOS Tahoe, Safari will begin automatically blocking most 3rd party tracking from running in the browser. Because of this, Digioh lightboxes will be blocked as they are running from the lightbox.cdn domain.

To help prevent Digioh from being blocked on your site, you can update your account to use a Custom Domain for your Digioh install script.

Follow the steps below to configure your custom domain:

  1. Create a CNAME Record:
    1. Point a subdomain of your choice (e.g. forms.yourdomain.com or campaigns.yourdomain.com) to customers.lightboxcdn.com
    2. For Apex Domains: Point out the CNAME to WWW.YOUR-DOMAIN.COM
  2. Email us so we can verify and apply SSL. We’ll take care of this on our end.
  3. Once we’ve applied the SSL, you’ll want to do an account publish to make sure the changes are live.
  4. While your Digioh campaigns will work once the custom domain is configured, we highly recommend updating your site’s Digioh embed to reference the new domain. After we confirm the configuration is completed, navigate to Profile > Setup Instructions to find your new installation code with the custom domain.

Additional notes:

  1. DNS settings vary by provider. In some cases, you’ll enter the full domain (forms.yourdomain.com), while in others only the subdomain (forms).

  2. As best practice, use non-branded generic terms in subdomains, like forms or campaigns.

  3. If you manage multiple Digioh accounts, each one requires a unique custom domain.
