When a user submits a campaign, Digioh can store that submission data in your account, making it available for reporting, exports, and troubleshooting. How that data is stored (or whether it’s stored at all) is controlled through data storage settings.
There are two levels at which data storage can be configured:
- Account level: The default setting for all campaigns in your account. Account-level settings are managed by the Digioh team. To change your account-level configuration, contact support@digioh.com.
- Campaign level: Individual campaigns can override the account-level setting with their own data storage configuration. You can set this yourself directly from the campaign list.
The three data storage settings
Digioh supports three settings. Here’s what each one does.
Data Storage Enabled
This is the default setting. Digioh stores all submission data from your campaigns.
- All submission data is stored in Digioh and visible in Subscriber Data.
- Data exports are available.
- Integration and pipeline logs are available.
Obfuscated
Digioh stores submission data, but specific fields can be marked as obfuscated. Obfuscated fields are not stored in Digioh. You choose which fields to obfuscate and which to leave visible.
- Submission data is stored in Digioh.
- Selected fields are removed before data is stored.
- Unobfuscated fields remain fully visible in reporting.
- Integration and pipeline logs are available.
Data Storage Disabled
Digioh does not store any submission data. Instead, it acts as a passthrough, forwarding submission data directly to your configured integration(s) in real time without retaining anything.
- No submission data is stored in Digioh. The Subscriber Data section will be unavailable.
- All data is forwarded directly to your integration(s) in real time.
- Integration and pipeline logs are not available when data storage is disabled.
Setting data storage on individual campaigns
If you need a specific campaign to use a different data storage setting than the account default, you can configure it directly from the campaign list.
- Go to your campaign list.
- Click the … (ellipsis) button on the campaign you want to configure.
- Select Data Storage Settings and choose the setting you want for that campaign.
